The Fryers were looking to rejuvenate their outdoor living space with a new patio and pathway, enhance the functionality of their driveway, and integrate a raised patio and planter for aesthetic and practical gardening purposes. The existing round gravel on the driveway was proving unstable and lacked sufficient traction, posing a challenge for vehicle movement.
Our team embarked on a comprehensive transformation of the Fryers’ outdoor space, focusing on both aesthetic appeal and practical enhancements. We selected Autumn Rivnet Sandstone for the new patio and path areas, a choice inspired by its durability and natural beauty, which perfectly complemented the property’s exterior.
To introduce a multi-dimensional element to the garden, we constructed a raised patio and an adjoining planter using high-quality sleepers. This not only added a distinct character to the garden but also provided the Fryers with a versatile space for planting and landscaping, enriching their outdoor experience.
The driveway required a significant overhaul to address the issues caused by the old round gravel. We replaced it with golden angular gravel, a material known for its stability and excellent traction. This upgrade not only enhanced the driveway’s functionality but also contributed to the overall aesthetic, creating a cohesive and inviting entrance to the home.
The new Autumn Rivnet Sandstone patio and pathways exude a warm, natural elegance, inviting relaxation and outdoor enjoyment. By reducing some of the patio area adjacent to the house, we facilitated additional parking space and improved manoeuvrability for vehicles, directly addressing the clients’ needs for functionality and ease of access.
