Our design centred around the elegant and durable grey sandstone, chosen for its timeless appeal and resilience against the elements. The material’s subtle hues and textures perfectly complement the home’s exterior and the natural surroundings, providing a serene and inviting backdrop for outdoor living.

The transformation featured a raised patio area at the garden’s rear, complete with a modern pergola. This elevated space offers the Newtons a secluded spot for relaxation and entertainment, elevated to provide views over the rest of the garden. The pergola, a contemporary twist on classic garden architecture, adds both style and functionality, offering shade and a structure for climbing plants.

Adjacent to the house, a lower patio extends from the French doors, creating a seamless transition from indoors to outdoors. This area serves as a versatile space for dining, lounging, or simply enjoying the fresh air and garden views. A connecting path of the same grey sandstone ensures a cohesive look throughout the garden, uniting the different zones in a continuous flow of design and utility.
